PostBid Rules & How It Works
PostBid is a public, real-time billboard for social media posts. There are no ads, no algorithm tricks, and no recurring subscriptions. You pay to stand above everyone else on the internet. Your rank is your bid — nothing else.
⚡How ranking works
• Bids in Whole Dollars: New bids start at a minimum of $1 up to $999,999 in whole US dollars. Bids already on the board keep their cumulative total until raised or outranked.
• Taking #1: Taking the #1 spot costs at least $1 more than the current top bid. Bidding less still places your post on the live billboard at whatever rank that amount qualifies for.
• Equal Bids Tie-Breaker: If two posts have the exact same cumulative bid, they stay in the order they were placed — the earlier bid retains the higher rank.
• Incremental Re-Bidding: Enter the same post URL again at any time to raise your listing to any higher rank. You only pay the difference between your previous total and your target rank; someone else cannot take your spot by paying that difference.
• Canonical Post ID Identification: YouTube, X (Twitter), Reddit, LinkedIn, and Instagram links are keyed by their unique platform post IDs. Mobile share links, shortlinks (`youtu.be`, `redd.it`), and tracking query parameters (`?si=`, `?s=20`, `?utm_...`) are automatically canonicalized to the exact same database entry so you never create accidental splits.
📌What you can list
• Supported Platforms: Direct links to YouTube videos / shorts, X (Twitter) posts, Reddit threads, LinkedIn posts, and Instagram posts / reels.
• No Group Chat or Invite Links: Chat and invite links are not allowed — Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord, Signal, Messenger, and similar. PostBid is a billboard for public creator posts, videos, and discussions, not private group chats.
• No NSFW or Sexual Content: Links to porn, sexually explicit content, scams, or illegal material are strictly prohibited. Violating links will be removed immediately without a refund.
• Clean Destination URLs: Query parameters and referral tags are stripped from listings so visitors enjoy a clean, fast experience.
🏆Weekly Seasons & Archives
• Weekly Cycles: PostBid runs on 7-day seasons (Monday 00:00 UTC to Sunday 23:59 UTC).
• Permanent Hall of Fame: When a week concludes, the final leaderboard standings are archived permanently into historical season pages (e.g. /week1), preserving your rankings and achievements forever.
💬After you pay & support
• Instant Live Billboard: Your post is published publicly to the leaderboard the instant payment completes. Clicks from global visitors route directly to your original post.
